School’s Out and Campus Wire were featured today in the business section of the San Antonio Express.
You can read the article here.
(Sorry if this blog is turning into a self promotional piece. As soon as I have something insightful to write, I will. You can get a sneak preview of something that I am working on here.)

I always think it is kind of fun when you are out of town somewhere (not in your hometown) and you run into a friend of yours. I was at a very busy airport a few weeks ago and I had a thought. There were probably tens of thousands of people at that airport, some of which, I probably knew personally. There were probably even more people there that I shared a mutual friend with, but we had no idea. Even if a friend of mine was 15 feet from me we probably would not even notice each other.
So what about this. What if your cell phone broadcast your phone number, along with the phone numbers of all of your friends or contacts in your phone. If everyone’s phone did that then it could alert you if a friend or a friend of a friend was close by. If a phone was broadcasting it’s own phone number, and that phone number was in my contact list then I would know that a friend of mine was close by. If a phone was broadcasting a phone number that was in it’s contact list 210-555-5555, and my phone had that number in my contact list then we would know that we had a mutual friend.
Can someone invent this already and give me credit/royalty please? Thanks!

Well, happy halloween everyone. (I was just being polite there when I said that. I don’t really care for halloween. I don’t have anything against it, it just isn’t that exciting).
Anyway the point of this post is to notify you of how I am internet-famous today. A picture of mine made it onto lolsecretz. ‘What is a lolsecret?’ you may ask? Well, here is an attempt to explain the idea behind lolsecretz.
Lolsecretz is the meeting of two of the internet’s most famous memes–PostSecret (the blog where people anonymously confess their deepest darkest secrets) crossed with Lolcat Macros (the phenomenon where people ascribe poorly spelled human emotions to animals). Enjoy!
It is incredibly dumb, but funny at the same time. I took a picture of our daughter and our cat from last halloween, blacked out her eyes, added some funny text to it and submitted it to the website. Next thing you know… Boom!, I am famous!!!
So here it is…. my lolsecret
Check out more here.
(I hope this doesn’t constitute as child/cat exploitation)

I want an iPhone so badly it hurts. It hurts bad. On a whim I decided to find out how much it would cost to get out of my Sprint contract. As we all know, the quickest way to find information these days is to just type it into Google. Google is smart and it will usually point you in the right direction.
Well not this time. Take a look.
